Mike, thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. While we’re disappointed the trip didn’t meet your expectations, we appreciate the opportunity to respond.

Fishing is never guaranteed, and although we didn’t limit out on red snapper that day, your family still left the dock with approximately two gallons of fresh red snapper fillets to take home. Captain Glenn worked hard throughout the trip to put fish in the boat under the conditions we faced.

Regarding the time spent gathering bait, our original plan was to purchase live bait before the trip. Unfortunately, the bait boat had already sold out for the day, so we had to catch our own. While this took additional time, having fresh bait gave us the best opportunity to put fish in the boat rather than fishing with less effective alternatives.

As for the 3.4% credit card processing fee, that fee is clearly disclosed during the booking process before payment is made, and guests always have the option to use one of our no-fee payment methods.

We also remember your children having a fantastic time. They were smiling throughout the trip, and at the end of the day they told us they were “ready to go back and do that again,” which is always rewarding to hear.

We respect that every guest has different expectations, but we’re proud that your family went home with a generous amount of fresh fish, created lasting memories on the water, and that our crew worked hard from start to finish to make the best of the conditions.
