Just wanted to say what an awesome experience our family had fishing with Captain Glenn in Destin. He was very knowledgeable, attentive, and helpful in teaching our two boys how to fish in the Gulf.ย He had top notch equipment and everything needed to make this trip a very fun time on the water.ย Captain Glenn seemed to know where to go to always put us right on the fish.ย The boys loved it and my wife loves mahi, so it was a successful trip experience all around!ย Thanks Captain Glenn, canโt wait to come back later this summer and do it again!

Captain Glen was awesome! He did a wonderful job and put us on fish from the start. Our trip was cut short from someone getting sea sick but he made it back quickly and even helped us fish from the dock while he cleaned our fish! Great guy! I definitely recommend him and would use him in the future! Thanks Captain Glen!

Captain Glenn tried.ย However, bottomline is that we did not catch quantity or quality of fish desired.ย We did not catch our red snapper limit or find other fish to offset this shortcoming.ย ++In addition, I did not like credit card fees (3.4%) being added.ย +++We also spent too much time chasing bait prior to fishing.ย Departing from BLUEWATER Bay is another disadvantage.ย Mike Cassady

Fishing is never guaranteed, and although we didnโt limit out on red snapper that day, your family still left the dock with approximately two gallons of fresh red snapper fillets to take home. Captain Glenn worked hard throughout the trip to put fish in the boat under the conditions we faced.
Regarding the time spent gathering bait, our original plan was to purchase live bait before the trip. Unfortunately, the bait boat had already sold out for the day, so we had to catch our own. While this took additional time, having fresh bait gave us the best opportunity to put fish in the boat rather than fishing with less effective alternatives.
As for the 3.4% credit card processing fee, that fee is clearly disclosed during the booking process before payment is made, and guests always have the option to use one of our no-fee payment methods.
We also remember your children having a fantastic time. They were smiling throughout the trip, and at the end of the day they told us they were โready to go back and do that again,โ which is always rewarding to hear.
We respect that every guest has different expectations, but weโre proud that your family went home with a generous amount of fresh fish, created lasting memories on the water, and that our crew worked hard from start to finish to make the best of the conditions.
