Highly recommend the captain Ty and his guidance!!! From booking and communication, wirh attention to small details, to the very day of the fishing, with high expertise, Ty and his daughter Mazie made our experience 10+. we were cruising and booked outside the cruise excursions ( highly recommend). For 3 of us we got 3 king salmons and shipped it back home. Absolutely highly recommended!!!

This family trio was a blast. We were on the kings pretty quick. Beautiful, clean fish that they shipped home. Happy to help fill a hucket list. That kid could fish.

We went and out and after a short few short minutes we arrived to our fisrt spot to fish. We quickly began catching fish and within a couple of hours limited out on our halibut quota. We then trolled for a couple of hours and even though the bites and retained salmon was few, we were more than aware the captain Ty was doing everthing he could to get us into some fish. Captain Ty was friendly, he knew what he was doing and his daughter was just the same as him. We had six in our group on the boat... More

Super fun group of 3 father/sons. Great fishermen. Landed their limit of halibut easliy. King salmon weren’t cooperating much but persistence paid off and the group got a couple nice ones. All in all a fun afternoon with a lot of laughs and fish caught.

Highly recommend! Ty and Maizey were exceptional guides and hosts. Excellent communication throughout planning and day of. We had such a great time - he knew right where to take us where the fish were biting and we had a successful trip! This family was great! We started hitting halibut right out of the gate and this group didn’t miss a fish. Reaching their halibut limit in no time. The weather and water were both beautiful. Such an awesome morning!

My son and I wanted to go fishing in Ketchikan and I found Ty and his boat online. We took a trip for around 6 hours. It was just the 2 of us and we had a fun and amazing trip. Ty sends very clear instructions and works hard to make sure you are taken care of and have a good trip. I would highly recommend him if you want a great trip from a local guide while here. Ty got us on the fish! the four of us caught six fish including King Salmon, Rockfish, and a Coho which we’re looking forward to eating! Ty was informative anf communicative, making the entire process seemless. withing 20 mi ute of stepping off our cruise ship, we were on the water. it was a blast for us all!

This was a great family trip. Jason’s group was a lot of fun. The water was calm and the weather was very nice. They hooked and landed several fish, electing to ship rhe coho back home. Hope to see them again! Thank you
