Captain Cody wasn’t able to guide but his dad, Captain Mike stepped in. Captain Mike is such a wonderful person! He is super knowledgeable of the lake. The bite was slow in the morning but then again it was a very cold February morning. We were able to land two stripers. The bite got cold. Steckel Fishing is the best fishing guide for Lake Mead. This is a father and son team with many years of experience with top notch boats and equipment. Excellent communication and very responsive. You will most likely get tired from pulling in so many fish. Be sure to bring a cooler and ice for the fish. We will definitely be booking more trips with Cody and his father.

Captain Cody was an excellent guide. Not only was he very knowledgeable about the lake, he also worked hard to ensure we caught fish. Went out w/ Codys dad Mike Caught 40 striper!! Fished w/ live bait and even took time to get some more. Put us on the fish right away. My buddy and I had an amazing time. Will definitely use again and highly recommend them for your fishing trip!
