4 Hour Fishing/Lobster Tour (AM)3 adults

Captain Tom was an excellent host. Very upbeat and full of information. The area we boated around in was lovely. He pointed out various wildlife including bald eagles, a seal and the birds. The fish were being elusive when we went out, but he still managed to find some for us to catch. We’re not very experienced at fishing, but his instructions were most helpful. Seeing how the lobster traps work and getting to take a whopper and two smaller ones home with us for dinner was a true highlight of our trip to Maine. The boat was clean and comfortable and the poles were easy to use. Great, diverse experience for a half day trip. Highly recommend this trip for those wanting the full experience but not wanting to commit to an entire day.

    Fantastic trip!

    4 Hour Fishing/Lobster Tour (AM) • 3 adults • 1 child

    We started the morning fishing for mackerel and we were slightly behind schedule and missed them. Went to start in on the stripers, more inland. They were biting, but just being finicky. People were catching them off similar rig setups, but we were just having no luck. Capt. Tom determined for us to at least get 1 good catch today extended past our 4 hour mark an extra hour. We hit a hotspot and my friend caught a perfect, chubby 30” striper. We did not have much luck at the lobster traps prior as most were female. Overall Capt. Tom was a great guy, very easy to get along with and very knowledgeable. We had a decent size sturgeon spring out of the water and saw many bald eagles and local wildlife. Capt. Tom was very deatiled and oriented on the history of the area dating back and teaching us the layout of the ocean, sandbars, rock areas, tides. My son had a blast even though him and I did not catch anything. Overall an awesome trip and highly recommended.

    This was our 4th trip with Eagle’s Rock. We had a great time, as always! Catching mackerel for bait was surprisingly really fun. And we brought home a bunch of lobster from the traps we checked. Sadly we didnt catch a single striper. But not for lack of trying! Donna was doing everything in her power to put us on the fish, but they just werent biting. Can’t wait to do it again next year!

    Great fishing trip

    We had an outstanding day striper fishing with our guide, Tom! Fishing had been very tough the previous few days, with most anglers only catching one fish, but Tom put us on the bite and we landed three quality stripers. His knowledge, persistence, and ability to find fish made all the difference. If you’re looking for a guide who works hard and knows the lake, we highly recommend Tom. Thanks for a great day on the water!

    3 Hour Striper Fishing Tour (AM) • 2 adults

    booked this charter as a father’s day gift for my dad. we had a great time on the water. tom did everything he could to put us on to Stripers. i was fortunte to reel in a 30inch striper at 9:59am right at the buzzer! tom was kind to clean the fish for us and let us stay an extra 30 minutes out on the water, to try and land a second fish. was a great day and 10/10 reccomend!
