ive booked many trips with Dustin over the years both open water and hard water fishing. Ive got to say I know he is the best guide in the Brainerd lakes area. He has top of the line equipment all the way from boat down to the hooks he uses for his trips. Also Dustin is very knowledgeable about fish patterns and how fish act during weather conditions. Dustin Monson is a fantastic guide and even a better human being! I spent two days with Dustin and my elderly father fishing for Northern Pike, Walleye, and Pan Fish. Dustin was patient and very helpful with my father, even put him on a Muskie and I know I will never hear the end of it! Dustin has fantastic equipment and was proficient in finding fish and keeping us on them. I highly recommend Dustin and hope to see him again on the water soon! Thank you, Dustin. The wind was horrible! couldn’t fish where the fish were because of the wind. Caught some small mouth bass, but were fishing for walleyes. Dustin tried so hard to get us some walleyes. Even when we were on fish, they wouldnt bite. Would love to try again sometime. Dustin was great!
