Our motley crew of 6 had an amazing day on the water with Captain Bernie and First Mate Mark.  From start to finish, the day was perfect.  The boat is fantastic, roomy, good tackle/bait, and a bathroom, a definite plus for us lady anglers.  Capt. Bernie put us on fish at every stop and Mark kept us baited up and told us tales of his decades on the water.  We caught dozens of triggers, most “soul-crushingly” undersized and returned, but fun to catch.  Caught a variety of other bottom species including white snapper, squirrel fish, vermillion snapper, and some beautiful red snappers that we are coming back to get this summer…lol.  We then did a little trolling near shore to finish the day and all six of us got to bring in a spanish mackerel.  So we went home with great memories and a variety of fish to try.  Big thanks to Capt. Bernie and Mark for being so good at what they do.  Will definitely go out with them again and recommend them to others.

Had a great day on Windcharter II with captain Bernie and First mate Mark. Mark was great at constantly baiting our hooks and teaching us techniques to bring in the fish. We caught over 50 fish but couldn’t keep them all due to time of year or size.  Even had a dolphin grab my fish that I was reeling in and take off with it. Thankfully it broke off before breaking the line.  Then the dolphin swam next to use for awhile.  On the way back caught a Bonita trolling.  Good sign since one of the first warm season fish to return like Mahi, tuna etc. Will go out with these guys again if we come back to Destin.

This was our first charter boat experience. It was a nice time for a beginner. 4 hours was just perfect for our 1st time. We traveled about an hour out and had 7 people who fished. We also had 2 kids and they got to reel in a fish and that was exciting for them. We seen dolphins. The day was perfect!!!! We will definitely do another charter and if in Destin area, would definitely book the Wind walker II again.

This was our first charter fishing trip.  I took my two boys and a on of their friends.  We caught fish in all stops.  Mostly Trigger fish and various types of snappers.  The fish were biting almost the full time.  Everyone said it was the best fishing trip they had been on.  Definitely recommend it.  Thank you!
