We booked two days and the weather was perfect for both days.  Captain Scott led us to the snappers!  Day 1 was fast fishing for Red Snappers so we were able to spend some time catching Vermilions also.  Near nonstop action.  Day 2 we also had great Red Snapper fishing, but the sharks were more active and stole our fish and rigs several times so we were more on the move on Day 2 trying to keep away from the sharks.  We had a great time thanks to Captain Scott’s knowledge and experience!

I’ve fished with guides in Alaska, Minnesota, Missouri, Mexico, Jamaica, Bahamas, Guatemala, Ecuador, and Australia, and Scott is probably the best guide I’ve ever **hidden content** three middle-age guys had a fantastic two day trip in the marsh and caught redfish limits both days along with several throwbacks on both ends of the slot. We had a group of five down to Venice for our first time. Captain Scott was a great captain who helped us land our limit of snapper and made our weekend trip to Venice perfect. He was accomodating, professional, and great for the experienced and inexperienced fisherman in our group. We all had a great time, trusted Scott’s judgement, and he nailed it. He provided everything we needed to make the most of it!

We went out RedSnapper fishing and after we had our limit witch was probably 30 min we came back and caught our limit of red fish that took longer but the captain (Scott) was doing his best to put us on fish. He knew his equipment and the fish we were after. Super good guy we really enjoyed our day and look forward to next year. I’ve fished with other captain but this was the best

Capt Scott knows his craft and we enjoyed our time out on water he has a good boat and equipment. Ran into a parking lot at the oil rig, so capt switched the plan and took us straight to a great spot to drop and hook up on big red snappers and caught our limit in a short time.  Afterwards we headed inshore and we did ok on finding the red fish. He gave some good fishing pointers and afterwards took us in and cleaned & fileted our catch. I will rebook with him in future and recommend him to anyone.
