I am stuck with the tough question…was it a bad day, or a bad Captain?
First, Captain Edgardo did not Captain the boat. The Captain was someone not profiled in the listing. Was he a good Captain, or someone being trained? I don’t know.
What i know, is it is the Captains job to put you on fish. This one did not. 2 bites, and one very small Dorado on an all day trip. We did spot one marlin, the deck hand cast the bait off the hook when he tried to cast live bait on the fish. That is the kind of rookie mistake that will ruin a trip.
It was a beautiful day, but a bad trip. For what we paid, I expect more. Sorry, but I am going to have to put this on the Captain. He did not do his job.

Paid for full day fishing trip in Cabo San Lucas starting at 7am.  Captain met us on time at our hotel and walked us to Marina, Along the way the Captain said he was having engine trouble with his boat and we would be going with another crew and boat. We left at 7:15am and puttered around until for 6 hours until one of our group got seasick. Around 1:30 pm we asked the captain to take us back to the hotel.  The crew member who was doing the fishing rode up with the captain for 3/4 of the trip,  There were 4 rods set out and we never had a single nibble. Crew told us this Is the way we fish and we are just unlucky.  We spent a lot of money for a halfhearted attempt at fishing.
