Guides are not magicians. However, there are a few (very) that have a special magic to create an fond memory/ experience that is part expert knowledge to know where the fish are (or locate them), part great teaching to help you hook one, and part excellent customer service so that you have a comfortable and enjoyable time while dong it. Randy Seidel masters all three parts and I could not recommend anyone more! The fact that he is also just a great guy to hang out with for a day is an added perk! No matter the level or experience of the fisherman, he can/will work with each person at their level to maximize your success on the water.  If you have an opportunity to book him, do it. You will be very glad you did!

Conditions were tough due to high salinity of bay waters due to lack of rain. Captain Randy tried several locations before he found a good spot with a lot of bait fish activity. Caught another trout and red fish that were an inch too small. I’d highly recommend Randy.

Captain Randy is an excellent guide.  He put us on fish within 30 minutes after arriving at our first stop .  We got our limit of trout and moved on to look for red fish.  The reds were slow due to water conditions but managed to catch one keeper red.  We caught quite a few of undersized trout which made the trip a catching day not just fishing.
Capitan Randy and I discovered we had mutual friends during our conversations which made the trip most enjoyable.  In all we had an awesome time and will definitely be contacting him on our next trip to Port A.

Randy was a awesome guide/captain! He was extremely knowledgeable and determined that we catch fish. We had a great time, caught many fish and learned quite a bit in the process. We will definitely be using him again next year when in the area.

The weather conditions and low tide made finding the fish tough but Captain Randy turned it into a memorable experience for my two 11 year old grandsons. We would highly recommend Captain Randy Seidel and we will be coming back!
