We are sorry to hear that you did not have a excellent time aboard our charter. Although the Mahi Mahi were not biting off shore we spoke to you about fishing on the reef.  You agreed that you didn’t want to just go for a boat ride with out catching anything so we decided to got to the reef. Your family was having a great time reeling in a nice rack of Yellowtail.  Sorry you felt that a 3 star review was necessary because every other review we received that week with the same fishing situation,lack of Mahi Mahi we received 5 stars and happy anglers.  Most commended us for not just taking them for a ride and being honest with them that the Mahi Mahi were not biting. Sometimes weather, moon and other conditions has a negative effect on fishing and we felt that we did a great job putting you on fish.

Thank you Bradley for coming aboard. We appreciate your business. I wish that we would have been able to control the waves and the fishing conditions but as you know we are unable to do that.  That is why they call it fishing one day the fish are pleatiful and the next day they are not. The other day the all of fleet was catching racks full of fish and the day you went out hardly anyone caught anything as you saw on the dock when we returned. We did everything we could do to make it is successful trip for you.  Sorry that some of you also got sea sick and that you though your trip wasnt as plentiful as you expected.  We tried to please you by also giving you a discount. Chuck we are sorry that you where not happy with your trip because of the weather.  This is why Capt Tony called you the day before to discuss the weather to offer you another day or cancel. When you indicated that you still wanted to go and you would handle the ruff seas we made arrangements to provide you with your trip with gas, bait, and a highly qualified mate that was born and mated In the Keys his entire life one of the best. Once we arrived at the reef and started to get the Yellowtail to come up from the bottom we have to determine how they are going to bite. These fish are very line shy and sometimes you can’t put more than one line in the water at a time they are not a fish that just hooks it’s self. Therefore to keep them biting sometimes only one person can fish at a time and needs to be done in a standup method not sitting also sometimes to get fish on the boat for you the mate will hook some fish until they start biting on their own. This might take a little while.  As far as our mate having a health issue that day. He did indeed eat food that did give him heartburn and still he provided you with the best mating service. We are so sorry that some of your family got sea sick and you asked to come in early. This is why you where offered another day to begin with as we told you it would be.  Even though the day was cut short at your request we still have the same amount of fuel, bait, and mate expenses and a commission to fishing booker it is not always we can provide a discount. Also please look at the fishing booker contract and as per your conversation with me there is no food or alcohol provided only bottled water.  Again we are sorry that the weather and ruff seas was not what you could handle but we provided the same great service as we have before with all of our 5 star review patrons.
