Weather was not in our favor. It was so foggy and the sun couldn’t break through. The water was pretty cold and difficult to get the fish to bite. My son caught one decent size Red but just under the limit. Shawn worked for hard to get us on the fish, changing lures, depths, speeds, locations, etc. That’s just how fishing goes sometimes. We still had a great time being out on the water. Definitely book again.

Shawn is an excellent guide who knows this lake like the back of his hand. We limited early On Reds and then went after Blue Cat. Awesome morning on Calaveras with my friend from KY. First time to catch Redfish in freshwater.

Father son trip. We ended up catching our limit of red fish and the fish put up a good fight. Captain Shawn is very patient and helpful. He made sure that we had a good time.  Highly recommend this trip.
