We had an incredible fishing trip with Captain John, where we reeled in some impressive catches, including lemonhead sharks, black tip sharks, king mackerel, Spanish mackerel, and bonito. But the highlight of the trip was watching my son catch his very first shark - a moment I’ll never forget. With tight lines and bent rods, we created memories that will last a lifetime. Captain John led the way, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience.

We didn’t have any luck for catching fish. It wasn’t the lack of trying from Captain Jon! He went above and beyond to try get me on fish. We fished tide wading with no luck but that didn’t stop him. He unloaded his boat and took me out on the water and tried getting me on fish. Captain Jon Put me on fish without even having to leave the sound/inlet Our first and only stop a shark hole Hooked up with an 8ft bull shark that fought for 50 minutes We landed it took photos and released unharmed Caught several other sharks from 5 to 50lbs Just a perfect day, will fish with John and Tinker (Black Dog) again

Did a 3 hour shark trip with Captain Jon. He was a good captain and worked hard to provide a great experience for our group. We had a variety of experience levels and Captain Jon made sure to help all levels of Anglers. Tinker was great too. Thanks for the fun!

Jon was a pleasure, very knowledgeable and has been fishing the Hilton Head waters for 50+ years. My kids were rookies and they had a great time! Jon’s Labradoodle Tinker came along and the kids really enjoyed him! We will book Jon again when in the area!
