We had a fantastic fishing trip with Gitana Fishing! Captain Gavo and first mate Douglas were super knowledgeable and made sure we had a great time. Definitely recommend them if you are looking to catch some fish and have fun doing it!

We had a great experience with Gitana! The crew was awesome and got us on some snapper quickly. Then they got us on a huge rock snapper and a gigantic cubera snapper! Finally, to top it all off we got a sailfish that was over 7ft long. He put up a heck of a fight! Can’t say enough about the crew though, they were really good and very friendly. We will definitely book with Gitana again.

We live in Florida so we go on a lot of fishing tours. This one was by far the best one we have ever been on. We caught a rooster fish that was 70 pounds a sea bass that was 50 pounds of a huge pompano and two very large snapper four hours, these boys more than their job and we are so grateful. We will definitely be back in June when we come back.

As a fishing guide on the Texas coast, i understand the expectation and pressure of getting clients on fish!  Sometimes it works out and there are high-fives; other times, it just doesn’t quite come together despite doing everything right. 

However….. this trip was all high-fives and almost a shirtless chest bump….. almost!  I’ve been chasing a respectable Rooster fish for the past few years and finally got her done.  Icing on the cake… double hook-up.  I couldn’t have been more happy with this trip, the Capt. and hand.  Would absolutely recommend to friends and family and look forward to next years trip! Well done!
