We had a mix of beginners to more experienced in a small group (think family with teen kids).  I was impressed by a lot, but nothing more-so than the intuitive way our captain knew when to help, when to coach / educate, and when to let anglers do their thing…..each of us being different.  All the while with a friendly, immediately relatable personality.  Time and money very well spent.  We’ll be back for sure.

Captain Mike and deck hand Kim were great! Captain Mike was very knowledgeable and explained everything in detail and was overall just a cool guy. We were able to bring in some big reds! I would definitely book Mike and Kim again.

We plan these excursions a ways out and have people travel in from all over Texas to go. I bring my customers so the experience is a very important thing. We had some weather move in on the day of the trip and the Captain was very accommodating to help us fit a window in and still make the trip happen. Once we had the window where the weather cleared we jumped in the boat and caught some nice fish!

Grandpa wanted to check a fishing experience off his bucket list.  We planned a trip to Galveston Island from Iowa and Grandpa did some researching of Fishing Charters.  Decided on Line Check.  Everyone had a great experience fishing with Line Check. Grandma Battled at hammerhead and had to have daughter Angie step in catch and released. Grandchildren caught sharks and Johnny landed one of the two Jacks.  Son-in-law took his turn with a Shark.  Can’t forget Grandpa caught one of the two Jacks and caught and released sand shark.

Captain Eric had us catching 15+ pound Black Drum within about 20 minutes of leaving the boat slip! After catching several massive Black Drums using blue crab bait, we motored to the jetties.  Captain Eric set the anchor & we all started catching Sheepshead!  We had a great day & limited out on our Sheepshead catch using shrimp bait!
