Great fishing trip, I just picked the wrong day due weather conditions.

Had one of the most memorable experiences of my life. Captain Taylor is a true professional and goes out of his way to ensure you a great trip. It was amazing. Our group caught a nice sized red snapper and several trigger fish to start the trip. I lost a nice fish. The bite stopped for a little bit and Captain Taylor tried a chumming approach. I immediately hooked into a large fish and lost it. We tried again and the same thing happened. It was amazing. He then told us he was going to get us a trophy fish. We were trolling and hooked into a large amberjack. Between three of us, we landed the fish. Captain Taylor estimated the fish was around 40 lbs. Bottom line…..if you are planning a chartered fishing trip in the Destin area, hire Captain Bankston Taylor. He will put you on the fish and treat you like an old friend. We will definitely see him again. Thanks for a great time Captain.

Captain Taylor was excellent. It was a rough ride, the weather wasn’t cooperating however Captain Taylor made it as good as possible. After catching our bait fish we immediately starting trolling for the big ones. After about an hour we had one on. Unfortunately I was named OFur, lost the big one. Apparently I was very green for the first two hours. The swells were pushing 15 Feet at times. The equipment on the boat was amazing, gps locked in the route. The trolling motor held us in place even with the strong winds and waves. After about 4.5 hours we came back to the harbor. Entering the harbor was like no ride I have had before. Captain Taylor road a wave in the gunned it the rest of the way. What an experience. Fishing the harbor was much calmer, although we could see the fish they were not biting. We saw black drum schools, sheepshead and redfish. Again the boat was awesome for this type of fishing too. The trolling motor got us into places the bigger boats couldn’t and would hold in position while the tide was moving in. Highly recommend this charter for an experience in different types of fishing. The gear, the boat and the Captain were excellent.

The Captain was professional and my group of 4 had a great time. He had a great sense of humor. Captain Taylor definitely knows his area and his fish and how to catch them. Absolutely nothing negative to say about him and his boat because. His boat was very clean and professional inside and out! The Captain had all equipment ready to go as we left for the trip. Hopefully we get to do this in the future! We will contact Captain Taylor in the again! We would recommend this boat and Captain to anyone anytime!

This was by far the best fishing experience I’ve ever had. Before we were even out of the no wake zone minutes after being picked up, we had 3 Spanish Mackerel hooked on one pole. After some trolling, we hit the rocks near the bay opening to the Gulf and could not stop pulling in Red Snappers. After about 5 hours of fishing, we pulled back into the marina where Capt. Taylor filleted every fish we caught and bagged them for us to take home. I can’t recommend this charter enough. We will definitely be back.
