I would recommend Daliken to anyone looking to enjoy a fishing trip in the Cabo area.  Jaime’s communication was on point which made the planning leading up to and execution on the day of the trip super easy and comfortable every step.  Jamie even helped with arranging transportation to and from the resort, and the driver (Noel) was on time on both the outbound/return sides of the trip.  Our captain (Pancho) knew where the fish were.  These guys are professionals.  Don’t hesitate to book with them.

Booked a full day trip to increase the odds of catching a Marlin. When I arrived I learned that the advertised captain was the owner, operator of probably 8 boats. So when you book, you won’t know who your captain is or what boat you will be on. The boat and gear were clean and ready to go. The captain and his crew, his son, did not speak a word of English, the advertisement said the captain spoke English. I Paid for a full day for deep sea fishing to get further out and increase the odds of a bigger fish, however, the captain started close to shore. We caught a small Dorado and a very small tuna early and about an hour and a half in we headed out further from shore. We never got more than 10 miles out and we only had one short strike the rest of the day. The son appeared to get his dad to go further out several times, but the dad, the captain, waved his arms and blew his son off. We learned that two other boats from the fleet had caught 4 marlins and one boat had caught 5 marlins. Even as he got this reports the captain didn’t change anything for us, like heading out further from land or finding out what the boats were doing different. I paid for 8 hours, but at the 6th hour the captain called it. At less than 6.5 hours I was back on the dock. Like I mentioned, some of the fleet was successful, but my captain didn’t really seem interested in putting in much effort to catch a fish. He was happy to take me on a boat ride and get paid. It was July and lots of Marlins were being caught. This was probably the only time I would be in Cabo, so I was extremely disappointed.

3 Nice Dorado! Captain worked hard to keep us on fish. Other boats from same marina didn’t fair as well. Nice trip!

Our captain Poncho did an outstanding job putting us on fish and making us feel comfortable and at home. Was like fishing with an old friend. The weather was great and so was the fishing.

Great fishing experience with my three sons!!! After catching 5 beautiful Dorados, Pablito made us a delicious ceviche with mango!!! Thanks very much Jaime!!! See you in November!!!
