This was a three generation trip with Pap, two sons and grandson. Capt Chris was very nice and pleasant and handled the boat well. Unfortunately we did not seem to be able to get on the fish. In a 5 hr trip, we caught 2 small keeper fish. We had one large fish hooked that cut the line before we could bring it in and even see what it was. Do not know if it would have made a difference, but was expecting Capt Jessey and were handed off when we got to the pier. Jessey apparently had another group... More

Hey guys I’m sorry You had a tough trip Capt. Chris tried really hard for y’all. Sometimes the fishing can be slow he said y’all caught 4 flounder a blue and hooked into a good shark at the inlet so it wasn’t like y’all went out there and didn’t catch anything.

Captain Jessey is a quite adept at knowing where to fish and using the right bait. We went out looking for Black Drum and while the other boats seemed to be wandering about, Jessey put in them and we made limit. After that we headed two other spots for different fish and caught four stripers(threw them back) and a big bullhead which also was released. All in all it was a fun productive day.
