My family and I had a great trip. Captian Dave was ready to set out as soon as we arrived. We stepped aboard captin Dave’s beautiful, and clean boat Keeper. We then set out and gave us a great saftey run down and told us how we would be fishing. He put us on the fish right away and we caught our limit (5) within an hour and the rest of the trip we caught fish for fun 18 total fish. The best thing about the trip my son brought in his first rockfish and another in our group caught his first fish ever. Thank you so mch to captian Dave and Chasin Dreams sportsfishing for the great day and the memories thatcwere made.

I booked a half day charter on the Bay with Captain Dave and had an incredible experience. The 4 of us met him at the Marina and away we went. As we made our way to the fishing area, time was not wasted. We got a crash course in boat safety, rescue equipment and where it was located. He described how to fish striped bass and how he’d steer the boat to give us the best chance of a catching trip. The weather was cloudy, pretty windy and tide was super high at the begining. We ended with sunshine, a slight breeze and still water. It was fish on the entire time, sometimes 2 and 3 at a time! Captain Dave was eager to help, great with tips & tricks and attentive to every detail. We enjoyed great conversation along the way. From the very start, it was obvious how much Captain Dave enjoys what he does, sharing his love of the water and fishing. That passion carried through the entire day and made it such a memorable trip! 5- Striped Bass 1- Blue Catfish and too many catch and release to count. Why book a fishing trip when you can have a catching trip!! See you soon Captain Dave

We had an amazing fishing trip for my son’s birthday! I took him along with 3 of his friends, and they had an absolute blast from start to finish. The Captain could not have been nicer or more helpful. He was patient, knowledgeable, fun, and made sure the boys had a great experience the entire time. Everything was well organized, the boat was clean and comfortable, and the Captain went above and beyond to help the kids catch fish and enjoy themselves. He made the trip exciting while also making everyone feel safe and welcome. The boys are still talking about it and already asking when we can go again! This was such a memorable birthday experience, and I highly recommend this charter to anyone looking for a fun, family friendly fishing trip. Thank you for making my son’s birthday so special!

We had an amazing trip with Captain David! As first-time rockfish anglers, we really appreciated how patient, knowledgeable, and informative he was. He made the experience easy, entertaining and enjoyable while sharing his expertise along the way. Best of all, we caught our limit and had a great time doing it! I booked this charter for my son’s birthday and my only hope was that he’d catch at least one big fish — and it far exceeded every expectation!! The boat was spotless and thoughtfully organized and ready to go at arrival. The captain was responsive to all messages, professional, kind, and prioritized our safety from the start. He shared tons of knowledge throughout the day for a fully immersive fishing experience. I’d also note that for having children aboard, he was a perfect fit and showed complete patience, and even shared their joy. It’s clear that he truly loves what he’s doing and is eager to share it with others. So on our ride home, I asked my son what he thought about the trip, and what he said next spoke louder than anything else I could say…. “I feel like the captain was being himself and is just a really genuine person.” For a teenage boy with big fish chasing dreams, who had just reeled in his bigggest fish, it was ultimately the captain’s character that came to mind first for how his day felt so special. We came home with memories we’ll never forget and a cooler full of fish! Needless to say, we won’t be booking with any other Captain in the area from here on out.
