Captain Charlton and the young mate Mr K did a great job putting us on fish in very windy high seas conditions. Beautiful blue waters. Provided plenty of water to drink. Everyone caught fish and had fun. Crew knew the local waters and conditions well to catch fish. I would fish with them again but only on another boat. The boat pictures must be old because it needs a lot of maintenance work. The steering console came lose and fell to the deck narrowly missing one of us. Heavy diesel fumes regardless of wind direction seemed like more maintenance issues. I will stick with a 4 stroke outboard equipped boat next time. Easy to get to Paradise Island Margaritaville marina by taxi. Won’t be buying any more $9 beers at Margaritaville though.

While it was not a great day for fishing, no birds on the water, no weeds, hot and flat, it was a good trip none the less. i have never seen a crew work so hard to get us fish! Despite the conditions, we hooked about 8 or 9 but lack of our own experience caused us to lose most. We got a 3 foot + barracuda to the back of the boat before it flipped off, and boated a small blackfin tuna and 2 nice yellow fin jack. Captain Charlton gave some pointers to our crew to help turn “fish on” into a catch and we started getting lucky. They gave us a full 4 hours fishing because he didn’t want us to have a poor experience. He and his mate were first rate, my sons and grandsons thoroughly enjoyed the experience and I would definitely go out with them again!
