We had a fun evening of fishing and caught a giant barracuda and got to see a beautiful sunset on the water. Highly recommend captain John!!!

Not the best.  You decide. Six small fish for the entire trip. When the chum stopped so did the fish biting stopped. Not the most comfortable seats. No first Mate. Captain did not introduce himself. Beautiful water. Old boat with nice motors. No fish for dinner.  Not the in the top ten charters we have taken

This trip was awesome, Captain John was great, he put us on a 115-120 lb. tarpon in the first hour.  He was very knowledgeable about the area and marine life. Great experience, with a beautiful sunset to top off the day.

Let me first say that my boys and I have hired dozens of charter captains all over the US.  What I will say is Captain John is the best.  We fished all week on our own for the typical inshore species and the boys wanted more excitement than light tackle fishing so we contacted Captain John and asked him if he could put us on some game fish.  Specifically AJs and tuna.  We caught a ton and lost some too.  Captain John has a great rig and great gear and everything was flawless from the communication right down to the filet service Captain John does like he’s a chef in a fine restaurant.  I fish a lot and understand that sometimes you don’t catch fish it just is what it is (obviously not this trip) but part of the journey of hiring a charter Captain is the knowledge and the personality of the Captain.  Captain John is first class.  He shares his experiences and he is a wealth of knowledge but more importantly, he’s just a good guy and a great guy to talk to.  He’s patient with the less experienced angler and always happy to assist and share the tips he’s learned over decades of fishing the Keys.  I look forward to booking with him the next time we visit.
