Very Rough Seas after a storm and heavy winds.  He gave us the opportunity to cancel on a “weather day”.  We opted to fish and he gave it his all.  We each got a Spanish and enjoyed fishing backwater once we had our fill of the seas.  Make sure you talk to him.  Fun to chat with and has lived a fascinating life.

I had a blast on board captain shads boat. He was very easy to get along with and on top of that we caught fish. The shark that I caught was my highlight. I promise if you want to have a good laid back time and catch some good fish book Captain Shads coastal charters I know I will be back again next year.

We had a bad day fishing but then again, no one was catching anything but it was still a great day.  Captain Shad went over and beyond trying to find us some fish.  He’s a great storyteller and keeps it fun even if the lines aren’t ripping.  I would definitely head out with the Cap again!

Shad was great! Took 3 of us out and made every effort to provide best experience possible for our 10 y/o. Fish didn’t cooperate, but Shad did all he could to try several places for us and we were able to get enough for a meal after our charter. Great trip overall and would definitely try again!
