We had a great day fishing out on the river with Captain Ted. We had only done deep sea fishing before this, so it was a new experience fishing closer to land. We caught three striped bass, and we were able to keep two of them. Thanks Captain Ted!

Thanks Captain Ted! Awesome day with kids. Captain was great with the kids and knew all the good spots. Several keepers and a boatload of fun.

Captain Ted made a poor weather day fun and enjoyable for our party of five.  We were on fish and would do it again even with rain!  Great job - we’ll be back.

We had a great time with Captain Ted and Charlie. We caught a bunch of mackerel and striped bass on our 5-hour trip. They were very helpful getting us all set up and fileted our catch for us. Ted and Charlie were also a wealth of local historical knowledge.  At first we didn’t catch anything and I was thinking “oh well this is an awesome time anyway”. But I must admit once the fish started hitting, it was even better! We’ll definitely be back.

Capt Ted is an excellent host. A group of 6 adults, we took the 1/2 day fishing/sightseeing trip.  It was great.  Weather cooperated, but the fish, unfortunately, did not.  Ted was very accommodating and tried his best to get us some fish.  He may not be a native, but he is a local.  He knows a lot about the area and took us throughout the Essex river and out to Crane’s Beach and the bay off to the side.  It was a fun day on the water. And the price was right.
