I’m very sorry your fishing trip with Johnny Maddox Charters did not turn out as expected. I tried my best to get you on the water. You saying We pulled “bait and switch” on you is false brother and inappropriate.
Though it is true the boat you had booked with us, our 29’ Topaz had a major mechanical problems.  I had to put it out of service. 
I sure I contacted you in advance and informed you of the problem with the boat and I would try my best to find a replacement boat for you. Hoping not to disappoint your vacation. I called you back the day before and explained that I had found a 29’ SeaVee center console to use for you. (Saved the day). And It was your choice to go or get a full refund.  You said y’all would look at the new boat and decide. (Good idea) You and your crew the morning of the trip, debated and decided yes to take the 29 SeaVee even though there was no appropriate potty for the ladies. As far is the crew goes, Capt. Chris and Dylan are my number one guys that fish with me daily. (Seasoned) Unfortunately I had to stay on deck to supervise repairs to my boat. I’m sure you would do the same.  As far as the lite catch goes, I’m sorry it’s a big ocean out there.  I should’ve been there. Every boat has a day.  Truly Sorry!  Upon you leaving, I’m sure I offered you some kind of discount on a return trip. I’ll stand good for that!!! Give us another chance we aim to please!

Joe Wieter, thanks for the 1 star review. The windy weather around 20k gave us tough fishing conditions but the crew stuck it out for you guys. Plenty of different fish were caught along with several keepers. Give me another try on a good weather day. I’ll even discount you. Thanks for choosing Johnnymaddox charters.
