Our family booked a 6 hour afternoon trip with Capt Dean on the Seahorse.  We had 5 adults and 2 kids (10 and 13).  Capt Dean was very communicative ahead or the trip and provided prompt responses to the initial booking and to any questions.

On the day of the trip, everything went extremely smoothly.  First mate Billy was exceptional and provided clear instructions for our mixed-experience crew.  We had a blast with him, and I think the whole group learned a tip or 2 as well.  We went to several fishing spots and did some red snapper, slow trolling for king mackerel, and even some shark fishing.  We had a successful day,

Overall, I highly recommend Capt. Dean and his crew for your fishing experience in Destin. They were professional, courteous, and fun!

We booked a Half Day private charter with Captain Dean and First Mate Billy and had an amazing experience.  They welcome both adults and kids.  Our 3 year old son and 5 year old daughter loved catching the bait fish!  We caught 19 fish total, and my wife caught the biggest Red Snapper I have ever seen!  What a great day, I cannot wait to do it again!

Bobby the first mate was awesome and answered all of my 13yr old’s “want-to-be” charter captain questions.  Great trip and already looking forward to getting back out there.

I’ve lived here for 20 Yeats and never taken a fishing trip, and this was the best first experience! We even brought our 5 kids all under the age of 10 who had the best time catching fish and playing in the cabin. Definitely going back to these guys!

Had a great time. Caught lots of fish… caught a shark… Mostly caught red snapper but they were out of season so had to toss them back… The two biggest got eaten by sharks on the way up😎
