ich hatte eine Angeltour kombiniert mit Strand und Lunch abgesprochen und unsere Erwartungen wurden voll erfüllt! Es gab unter anderem frisch gegrillten Hummer mit frischem Salat. Für die nächsten Touren würde ich für mich die Bezahlung vor Ort vorab besser **hidden content** kann halt sein, dass je nach Bezahlmethode (natürlich) Mehrkosten anfallen. Aber das hat nichts mit dieser Tour zu tun - ist eher ein genereller Tipp.

We had a great time!

We took 6 people on a 6 hr trip.  Ricky picked us up at our resort.  When he saw the group, mostly guys in their late 20s in the DR for a wedding, he stopped at the local superstore for additional provisions.

There was an issue with the boat we booked. On the way to the harbor Ricky told us we were upgraded to the bigger boat (Rocketship) at no additional cost.

The crew of 4 worked very hard to give us a great experience.  There was a lot of seaweed which was impacting the trolling.

Everyone was awesome, and our group had a great time.

After the trip, Ricky showed us around his town and braved a terrible rainstorm to get the group cigars for the wedding.

We had great conversations about baseball and learned about the history of that area.

We would definitely book again.

Booked thru FishingBooker which takes a ten percent commission via cc then you pay the remainder directly to Brito Yachts (note IBTA of 18% if using cc, 8% service charge for Venmo, no surcharge for cash). Crew was professional, but spoke very limited English. Capt. Jodi, crew: Alex/Jeremy. Arranged everything via WhatsApp w/ Yulian who speaks/texts perfect English. Left on time, meeting at the fuel dock ($30 USD ride from Hilton La Romana to pier). Standard trolling package for large pelagic species: outriggers, two teaser spreads, 5 lines in water w/ rigged ballyhoo. Essentially, you are in 100 fathoms within a few miles from shore, local fisherman create artificial floating cover (palm fronds anchored via concrete blocks, marked by styrofoam buoys). Fishing was slow, but we managed a barracuda and a decent Wahoo. Crew will fillet the fish; we took a couple of fillets that were cooked by the Hilton restaurant. Outstanding experience and the crew really worked to ensure we caught something (high-speed re-positioning four times to different artificial buoys over a five hour trip). Recommended to my contacts at the US Embassy, Santo Domingo and will definitely rebook with Brito next year.

We had an amazing day on the water. The crew was outstanding—so attentive, friendly, and truly committed to making sure my family had the best experience possible. They did everything they could to help us catch a fish and enjoy every moment. Highly recommend. Five stars all around, especially for the crew!

Fishing is fishing. You dont always catch them. Despite that, we had a great captain and crew. From the moment we stepped on the boat, they were ready to go. lines in the water within minutes of arriving at the spot. They never stopped trying to find some fish. I would fish with them again anytime!
