This was our 8th fishing charter, but our first time with Emerald C. Garrett with Emerald C was hands down the absolute best guide we’ve had across all fishing charters. With a laid-back easy going demeanor he patiently taught us the best techniques to pull in the fish. Never once were any of us without bait and a rod and reel in hand. If ever we went a few minutes without a bite he would move us to the next location - and each spot he took us ended up working out.

He was also very knowledge of the local spots - it was cool to hear about all the sites from a local.

We also saw a freaking MANATEE! When it surfaced next to us he was extremely respectful of the animals presence, and made sure we didn’t endanger it. His obvious respect and love of the Ocean and its wildlife was infectious.

It was the perfect start to our family vacation. Thank you so much Garrett, and Emerald C. Looking forward to the next time.

Hands down the greatest experience with Garrett and Gavin! Immediately we knew we were going to have an awesome time and we truly did, they got us out on the water quickly and within minutes we had fish on our hooks left and right the entire trip. We caught so many different fish it was unreal. They were both so helpful and knowledgeable and it truly just felt like hanging out with friends for the afternoon we had such a great time. We’re already planning our next trip to come back and fish with them both!

Couldn’t speak more highly of Capt. Gavin and the rest of emerald C charters. Gavin kept us on fish all day including end of season sheepshead. We had anglers of all skill levels and Gavin made sure everyone had a blast. At the end of the day he took a detour to put us in a perfect position to watch the Blue Angels practice their routine. We had fish in the boat and jets flying directly over us. Could not have asked for a better day. We will 100% be using this group again in the future.

Finding out it was the off season for red snapper was kind of disappointing, but Captain Craig put us on some good catching fun bringing in a lot of Rubyfish.  We tried a lot of hot spots in search of treasured game fish, but only to be out done by two sneaky dolphins. The dolphins fishing skills were far better than ours. To close the day off, Captain Craig put us on a bed of Triggerfish. Catching one after another, the triggerfish fighting every inch to the surface soon began to wear us out physically. In the end we only had one keeper, but a lifetime of memories with my great grandson, grandson, and my son in law! Thanks Captain Craig!
