Did not work very hard to find fish, went by what other captains told them. Not a lot of gear visible and only changed up color on one rod during whole trip.

We just returned from a 4 hour Salmon Charter with 3 fishermen and we caught 5 Salmon, it only make sense that we take our afternoon charter to the same place. We fished 2 hours without a bite, I trolled south, north and back and forth but couldn’t find a fish. I finally pulled the gear and went to another spot and we caught one nice Silver. The lady’s really wanted to see some whales because their Whale Watching charter got cancelled because of mechanical problem. I gave them a extra hour so they could see whales, which were plentiful . So my reward for giving a free extra hour of whale watching is a bad review. And a great gratuity of 0 as far as tackle if he looked in the v birth he would of seen lots of tackle for Salmon and Halibut we are fishing everyday, we no what’s working and what’s not, we stick with what works.

We knew we were attempting to fish at an extremely early time. We were not able to find fish, but we saw many whales and had a great experience with eagles. Captain John and Carven were great, friendly, and tried to make the best of the trip and lack of fish. My husband and I had a great time.

We caught max amount of Halibut, but no King Salmon. The boat was great and the crew were professional and really fun to spend 6 hours with. Views were unbelievable. Saw dolphins, orcas, eagles and sea lions as an added bonus. Pick up and drop.off were smooth. Highly recommend.

Thank You for the wonderful review of Captain John young and crew of Hi Time, they work hard to provide the very best customer servuce they can, finally the fish are starting to shiw up. Its really hard to catch Salmon when the only salmon thats running are Kings and they are catch abd rekease until 6/15/26!
