Captain Mike was awesome! His wife Karen was awesome as well! The two together made this experience so easy to book and made the fishing fun! Recommend this duo to anyone! Felt like they went above and beyond to make sure we had a great first experience. Boat was very clean, and organized. This was affordable for us and will definitely book with them again when we make another trip out to San Diego! Great job Bubba Jean!

Karen and Captain Mike were excellent; the boat was top notch, local knowledge of the area awesome, we moved around until we found our hot spot, all in all, a fantastic day. Cannot wait to see the pics of our catch! Thanks for everything Karen and Mike!

Booked the Bubba Jean for a half day bay fishing trip and caught three species of fish.  Had my two boys and they enjoyed the fishing and explanations of all of the military vessels and trading that takes place along the bay.  Hit several spots to find the bite and were well taken care of by Michael and Karen to make sure we enjoyed ourselves.  1st rate experience and a great day on the water.

Captain Mike put us onto the spot for yellow tail, but we got out-fought by the seals.  Had plenty of instant gratification with Calico bass.  The trip was a blast…even my whiny teenager nodded his compliments.

The most fun!! There was so much to look at and learn from Captain Mike he was wonderful with us and our kids!! I will definitely fish again with them next time we are down here!! Thanks again!!
