We had to cancel our initial trip because of the weather. We ended up going out 2 days later. We brought our daughters, and they had a blast, well until we hit open water. They toughed it out and we were able to pull in multiple fish including a sailfish, which was the fish we were after. The crew was accommodating, experienced, and trusting. I would recommend this to anyone wanting a great trip out in the water. Just a warning if you’re not wanting big waves/swells don’t do open water. It takes about 2 hours to get there. If you get seasick I would suggest bringing Dramamine.

Captain and crew were very attentive to our needs the sea was a little rough that day but still caught 10 tuna and a couple others that were prepared for us as ceviche and it was very tasty I would highly recommend this outfit and will hookup with them again.

These guys worked there butts off for my wife and I. We caught a lot of fish they wore me out! We didn’t land a sail fish but we did have one hooked!! That’s fishing. Jorge and Migeal and Diego are everything we had hoped for and more. We will definitely be back for another try at the elusive Sailfish and we wouldn’t want anybody else taking us.I think we made a great friendship along the way!! Thanks again for everything!!

Great trip. Great service. Great boat. Even though we didn’t have much activity on the lines (which I would chalk up to our choice of activity and the time of year) the crew and captain ensured that we had a good time, adapting to the situation and making recommendations to help us have the best time that we could.

Do note that there is a marina fee that comes to 8 USD per person that is not listed in the overall price.

We booked the 46’ La Patrona during Spring Break 2023. The Chartiers Del Mar staff were very professional and friendly. They has us hooked into several black fin tuna within minutes of setting the lines. If you have the time we would recommend booking a longer trip to increase your chances of landing bigger fish. Definitely recommend this company.
