  A great day on the water

  Half Day Trip on July 2, 2026 • 3 adults

  Capt Brian was a wonderful guide. He put us on the fish at our first stop. Altogether, we caught 23 fish and were able to kept three. It was a fun and exciting spot. We also stopped at two other spots to try our hand at some flounder and other types of fish. Both were fun to fish and had plenty of bites, but we couldn't bring one on board. I will definitely be returning for another trip with Capt. Brian

  3/4 Day Trip on July 6, 2026 • 3 adults • 1 child

  Wonderful day on the water. First stop was a Sea Bass hit every 10 minutes. One was a good keeper. Next spot was a Hammerhead catch/release, some Croaker, and Spanish Mackerel. Then we moved again and caught a nice Red Drum. Captain Brian and his 1st Mate were knowledgeable, super friendly, and all-around awesome. Highly recommend Heritage Fishing Charters!

  Great Family Trip

  Half Day Trip on June 15, 2026 • 4 adults • 2 children

  Captain Brian is great! Great with all levels of fishing! Sets up everything and helps you when you need it which makes it a fun, easy, and enjoyable. He tells you what you caught and about it as much as he can. Takes you to all of his known spots. The best thing about it is that you go chatch sharks! On our trip he told us how to do it when you have one on the line and if you need help he comes right over! He is happy to take a brake and take pictures of you with the fish. Captain Brian is the GOAT!

  Magical day on water

  3/4 Day Trip on November 2, 2025 • 3 adults

  We booked with Captain Brian after reading his reviews. Our experience more than lived up to expectations. Our 12 year old son has been learning in surrounding small lakes in VA - being out in the ocean was a dream! Captain Brian took us to spots were the fish were biting! We did the 6 hour trip and this allowed us to make the most of different locations and catch different fish including red and black drum and weak fish. Captain Brian was knowledgeable, patient and gracious. At the end of the trip, he taught us how to properly filet the drum that we caught so we could enjoy them for dinner. A amazing day that we will treasure.

  Brian is a great captain! Great boat & gear! we caught shark, redfish and a several other species. The captain and mate were both top notch. They are the reason a couple 14 year old boys caught a few firsts!!! Highly recommend!
