My wife and I were celebrating our 10th anniversary and decided to book a trip with Captain Bob. He was great before, during, and after the trip, and we were super happy with the whole experience!

Captain Bob made us feel super comfortable from the moment we met, and the whole time it felt like we were getting instructions and tips from a good friend. His fishing knowledge and experience with these waters is incredible, and he’s one of those rare, good guys that’s actually happy to share that knowledge. He was genuinely so happy for us as we were catching fish and you can really tell that fishing is his passion.

The day before the trip, Captain Bob reached out to see if there was any type of fishing or specific species we wanted to target. He tailored our day to give us the experience we were hoping for and was more than happy to change that up for us when we had a bit of sea sickness.

All in all, we had a great time and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. And YES, he put us on the fish!!

I selected a small, private boat for a trip with me and 75yo father.  Honestly, it was like fishing with your favorite uncle - Captain Bob is kind, funny, and very laid back.  He was flexible on time and even date.  He was just right with helping us do things if we need it, but not treating us like we needed everything done for us.  The best part is that he got us on LOTS of fish.  We caught black sea bass, bluefish, and one tautog (out of season).  It was almost too easy!  He cleaned our catches and gave us prep assistance. He also answered all of our questions about local landmarks, AC history, birds we saw, etc. I’m thinking about rebooking for striper season in fall!

While not every fishing trip can be a showstopper, Captain Bob knew where the fish where. He called us the night before to give us options and his knowledge paid off. Captain Bob delivered a tremendous ocean fishing trip over several wrecks. He used several different bait options that had the fish biting. We caught over 20 fish in our 3 hour trip. He also cleaned and filleted our fish while showing us how to do it, provided cooking instructions, and different recipes to use. We brought home 14 trigger fish and 1 sea bass. Perfect day, perfect fishing, and great captain. We will be back!

cant begin to express the fun we had on captain Bob’s boat great guy just to have a conversation with besides that he put us right on the fish and we caught alot of fish would i recommend him and his boat absolutely to anyone simply put you cant make a better captain if you tried thanks again captain bob you made a life time clients out of me and my wife

captain Bob was excellent. we struggled to find fish early due to weather but he continued to search several spots. eventually moving on to search for tautog and proceeded to catch a ton. highly recommend fishing with captain bob
