had a 5 hour trip on Lucky Penny on the 19th of December 2025 7am - 12 PM with my son and grandson .
Daniel the skipper and Kia the crewman were great , they new where to go to get on the fish and i soon had a King fish in the box, not to long after my grandson OLLIE was into a King fish of his own and after a good scrap it was in the box too. My son Will had the next one a short time later.
It went quiet for a while so Daniel moved further up the coast where Ollie hooked into a bigger fish a much stronger fighting fish that he managed to get to the stern of the boat before it rolled several times and snapping off the steel leader !, not long after that we had another savage take on a lure which snapped one of the triple hooks.
All in all a great morning on Lucky Penny and we can’t wait to come back and book another trip.

I can’t say enough good things about this trip. Captain Daniel was a true professional who was very knowledgeable of the island and where the fish were biting. This was apparently the slower part of the fishing season but we hooked our first 15lb Barracuda about 20 minutes into the trip and continued catching a variety of fish for the next 4 hours. We pulled barracuda, horse eye, tuna, travails and mackerel on to boat before it was all said and done. I would be remiss if I didn’t give a huge shot out to the Mate, Brandon. He and my family had great conversation the entire trip. He was “Johnny on the Spot” the entire time and he knew exactly what he was doing and it showed. I’ve only fished Barbados once but when we come back, this is the outfit I’m calling.
Do yourself a favor and Book It!

My wife and I booked an 8hr deep sea fishing trip on the Lucky Penny (July 9).  The boat was nice and clean and modern. The captain and crew were very friendly and knowledgeable about fishing the waters off Barbados.  I mostly wanted to catch a marlin (bucket list) but no such luck.  I did start the day by reeling in 2 nice sail fish before 9am.
The rest of the day was uneventful,  but not for lack of effort.  The captain kept us trolling in different spots.  The crew kept the lines in the water cleaning off pesky sargassum as needed.  All in all I had a great time on the Lucky Penny and would definitely book them again

first catch was a nice size wahoo, and then the second was BLUE MARLIN!! crew was unbelievably awesome!! highly recommend Lucky Penny!! Thank you Captain Daniel, Brandon and especially Kai for helping us land this massive bucket list marlin!! Worth every penny!!

Took my Mrs, her mother and 4 others on a 6 hour trip. Was all of our fist time fishing like this. Was a great boat, really good tackle and the guys were great. Really Informative. About 45 mins in we got our first fish. Then 4 more in close succession. Got a big ass sail fish and 4 mahi mahi plus severall others. About 10 or so fish in 6 hours. Tool a selection back to the apartment and cooked it on BBQ. Everyone had a fantastic time. Might even go again before the end of the holiday!
