I HIGHLY recommend! Captain Blake was great with our 3 kids, and even more patient with us 3 adults and our shenanigans. We caught some nice fish to bring home, had a great time and laughed a lot, and even got to see several dolphins near the boat throughout our trip. THANK YOU, Captain Blake! Sorry you didn’t enjoy the trip. The point of the 2 hour trip isn’t catching ‘keeper’ fish but catching ‘any’ fish. The goal is to give kids a chance at reeling in some fish, no matter what the species. Hopefully your kids had some fun reeling in some fish while fishing with us.

Total time with a pole was about 40 minutes and that was to catch the bait fish. When we made it to deeper water to fish, our captain cast out two poles and we watched him fish. Caught nothing. His comments were “not biting, times up, better luck next time”. Horrible expensive experience.

Sorry you feel that way. You booked a “2hr kids trip” that is described as a trip where we go out and try to catch as many fish as possible regardless of size/species. We caught over 30 fish that were small and spent the last 20 minutes trying for big bull reds. I wish I could have forced the big ones to bite so that we could’ve ended with a grande finale. Just did not work out that way. And your husband told me that they had a great experience and he was glad his kid got to catch some fish.

We’ve been out with Capt. Blake twice and I’ve recommended him to others who have been out as well, all with great results and big fish every time! His Ranger boat was the perfect size for the two of us, and we limited out on reds and specks in the bay. Our last planned trip had to be scuttled due to an incoming storm at the last minute unfortunately, but Capt. Blake and crew were gracious and we appreciated their caution! Will definitely be planning another trip.
