Trolling the Chesapeake for trophies.

6 hr Morning Trip

We booked a trip for the spring trophy season. We were greeted upon arrival and the boat was warmed up and ready to leave the dock. After a quick run to the fishing spot the lines were in. All matched new rods and reels outfitted with the right rigs, what a pretty spread. Derrick works hard to put and keep you on the fish. As a sport fisherman for nearly 30 years I can say we will be back reel soon.

    Fantastic Fishing Trip - Highly Recommend!

    We had a great time fishing with Captain and his mate! They were both friendly, professional, and made the trip enjoyable from start to finish. The captain's experience really showed and we felt safe with him. While the boat was comfortable and stable, the toilet could have used some cleaning, but that didn't take away from an otherwise excellent experience. Overall, this was a fantastic fishing trip, and I would absolutely recommend this captain to friends and family. If you're looking for someone who knows where the fish are and provides a great experience on the water, you won't be disappointed.

    My wife and I were visiting our daughter and her boyfriend and wanted to take them fishing out in the bay. The captain and crew were amazing and put us on fish right away. Caught LOTS of fish. Several times we had multiple people catching fish at the same time and often had 2 fish on the same pole! The next day after fishing, my daughter told me that her arms were sore from catching so many fish. It was one of the best fishing trips I've ever taken.

    Great afternoon on the Chesapeake

    6 HR Afternoon Trip • 2 adults

    Captain Derek had a conflict, however he was able to get a replacement from another local Captain to fill in. The First Mate was fantastic. He fillet our catch, and even took some to the Dock of the Bay Restaurant to cook it up for us. Fantastic way to spend our afternoon!

    Week night evening trip • 2 adults

    good day on the water, the captain and mate were knowledgeable about the best spots for fishing locally. caught a mix of catfish, rockfish, perch, spot, and even a ray. good atmosphere, learned a lot, and came home with plenty of cleaned fish to eat. would recommend, will look into booking again.

    3 Generations on a trip

    5 hour afternoon trip • 3 adults • 1 child

    Three generations on a trip Pappy, Son, Grandson (8). We got plenty of fish and crew was very knowledgeable. They definitely knew the layout and what they were doing. They took time to clean and fillet so that the restaurant at the dock could cook the freshest fish we've ever had. Would highly recommend
