Jay Ponte’s charter worked out excellent for our 6 man crew. Picked up in Boston right outside Tony C’s and Legal Sea Food. 6 hours with the Boston skyline and plenty of luck on the day. The charter had everything we would hope it to have. Good people, good music, and a good time had by all. Everyone caught a fish and we were able to take 3 keepers home. Definitely recommend and the cost was extremely fair for the service provided.

Fantastic day all around! Started with a ride out to find the bait, caught about 40-50 Mackerels and the kids were going nuts pulling them in. Pure chaos and joy. Once we got the bait.. was time to fish and Captain Jay was patient and knew the spots.. finally found us a honey hole and we pulled some beauties in. We were a group of 2 adults and 4 teenagers and what a blast and all give it a 5 start review! Don’t hesitate to book with Captain Jay! What a great day and experience all around... More

I wanted to surprise my boyfriend with a fishing trip for his birthday and the charter with Captain Jay more than delivered! The communication was seamless, pickup location in the city was so convenient and my boyfriend and his 5 friends had the most amazing day out on the water. They caught some huge striped bass, the boat was super spacious and Jay and Joe were absolute pros and made sure they had a really fun day. Would highly recommend!

Captain J really is the fish whisperer. He knows where the fish are and how to entice them to bite! We had a blast on a charter going after stripers, and we caught several. We also had a lot of fun catching mackerel too. Captain J’s first mate John was super helpful with keeping us all on track with the rods and bait. Thank you for a wonderful morning, tasty fish, and excellent tunes!

We had a great time with Captain Jay. He was very accommodating and friendly. He made sure to get a small life jacket for one of the kids that were suppose to join us. Pick up was in a very easy spot to find and it’s perfect if you’re coming from out of town.
