Rob was awesome - so chill, friendly, knowledgeable. we had such a great time woth Rob. We were worried about a midday trip in terms of fishing success, but we caught 8 fish in 5 hours! Definitely booking with him again next time we come to Tahoe. Absolutely a trip for the family memory bank.

We spent the morning on a tour with Captain Rob from Tahoe Trophy Trout and it was amazing.  Cpt Rob was friendly, experienced and very easy going.  Since I am not a morning person the 5am start was a challenge for me and we were a little late.  He took it all in stride and we caught some amazing (and delicious) large trout.  Cpt Rob knew the lake well and knew exactly where to take us to get our haul for lunch.  I unreservedly recommend Tahoe Trophy Trout to anyone wanting a great experience... Really nice morning on the lake with Captain Rob. We caught 3 of 4 strikes, a 3-5 lb brown, 3-5 lb rainbow. and 2 lb stocked cutthroat (released). And still time to visit Emerald Beach to satisfy non-fishing friends.
