We only got the one striper, but we had a great experience this trip! It was great being out on the water! Our captain was very knowledgeable and accommodating. Great experience overall!
From the very beginning, the communication was excellent. Before the trip, Captain Camden provided clear instructions on exactly where to park, explained the $25 parking fee ahead of time, and made the whole arrival process simple. Parking ended up being one of the easiest parts of the day. We arrived about 30 minutes early, and since the captain was already there and ready to go, we were able to leave the dock about 15 minutes ahead of schedule. That meant we reached the fishing grounds right at our scheduled start time, maximizing our time on the water. The fishing itself was incredible. Within the first 10 minutes, Captain Camden had already put us on three keeper striped bass. By the end of the trip, we caught eight fish total. Seven were legal keepers, and the only one we couldn’t keep had to be released because it was over the legal slot size. That says a lot about how well he knows these waters. The boat was spotless, the equipment was well maintained, and Captain Camden was professional, respectful, and easy to talk to throughout the trip. What really stood out was that he didn’t just take us fishing—he took the time to explain his techniques, talk about the local waters, share stories about the area, and teach us what to look for. It honestly felt like getting a fishing class while catching fish. Overall, this was an awesome experience from start to finish. If you’re thinking about booking a striped bass charter on Cape Cod, I highly recommend Stripers-R-Us. We’ll definitely be booking with Captain Camden again in the future. I did read through the reviews before booking, including the couple of 3-star reviews, and honestly they didn’t match my experience at all. One mentioned parking being difficult, but it couldn’t have been easier. Captain Camden sent clear instructions beforehand, the parking lot was easy to find, and the $25 pay booth was right there. Whoever wrote that review might need Google Maps just to find the pay booth.
We really enjoyed our 3hr trip with Captain Camden. He was knowledgeable, friendly and super helpful. We caught some stripers and saw some beautiful scenery. We will definitely do it again when we visit the Cape in the future.
Camden was an amazing captain and my son and i had a fantastic time. We did the 3 hour tour and caught 6 large striper bass. Highly recommend booking with Camden, he knows where all the best spots are!
We had such a great morning on the water. It was the perfect trip for me and my teenage kids. Cam was such a great captain and knew exactly what to do, the kids each caught 2 stripers each and I caught one. Just the scenery from the boat is wonderful but the fish we caught were definitely more than I was expecting. Very worth it and a special experience!
Capt. Camden was really accommodating for arranging a mid-day opportunity to take my 12-year-old son out for his first striped bass experience. He put us on fish in 2 different areas with different gear. Talked us through the rationale for where/why we were fishing with each gear. Landed several fish with 1 keeper which Capt. filleted really well. We'd do it all over again next time we're in the area.
