What an amazing deep sea fishing trip! The captain and crew were outstanding—friendly, professional, and incredibly helpful throughout the entire day. They worked hard to make sure everyone had a chance to catch fish and have a great experience.

The boat was clean and comfortable, and the scenery out on the water was absolutely beautiful. We caught plenty of fish, had a lot of laughs, and created memories that will last a lifetime. Whether you’re an experienced fisherman or a first-timer, I highly recommend this charter. I can’t wait to book another trip!

Captain Joe and Deckhand Jake did an excellent job of taking our party of six out on the Salty Loot, including our 11 year old daughter and 9 year old son. The boat ride to the fishing grounds was a bit bumpy, but Joe made us all feel safe and relatively comfortable. The boat ride was well worth it as we cought our limit of halibut. Joe and Jake were very thorough with explaining the techniques and answering all of our questions. They were also respectful when the kids got a bit green in the face. After catching our limit of halibut we were taken to a spot with an incredible black rockfish bite. To finish up the trip we came across a pod of orcas while boating back in! What a great day of fishing and wildlife! I highly recommend Captain Joe and Deckhand Jake on the Salty Loot!!!

6 people- we paid extra to get a halibut and king salmon combo that was $100 extra per person and another $30 for the salmon stamp for the license. the captain and first mate were amazing But was not told by the office it was also a king salmon trip. They were not planning on going to the salmon grounds and “filled in” fishing that felt very touristy. the crew scrambled and filled in but i feel like I extremely overpaid and could not come back from that. again our crew was amazingly great but our trip was cut short waited time and cost us more than we wanted. we did catch halibut and the captain tried to attempt king salmon but we were no where near the salmon or was prepared to fish for them. we planed our trip around this time for that reason that was not consided by blue ice fishing. so sorry!!

Our family of 6 had a great time with Captain Bub on the Salty Loot!  We are all fishing novices but still managed to catch near our limit and were able to see various wildlife (orca, humpbacks, sea lions, & puffins) en route to our fishing spots. It was a day to remember!
