My husband and I have four active boys who love being outdoors, and spend countless hours on the lakes in Maine fishing. We are currently on vacation and decided to surprise them today with this fishing charter. Captain Ethan provided us with a wonderful experience as a family. Many smiles, and laughs were shared by all and we cannot thank Capt. Ethan enough for his patience, assistance, and the joy of fishing that he shared with our boys today.

Captain Ethan was incredible. We had some last minute changes on our trip which opened up a morning to do some fishing. I booked the trip through the site for my brother and I less than 24 hours prior to the requested time, on a weekend, and within 5 minutes Captain Ethan sent me a text letting me know what to bring and what to expect. He clearly communicated throughout the process, he was early to the dock and ready to roll, and he had us on the fish the moment our hooks hit the water. We caught a variety of fish from grey snapper, bonita, flounder, grouper, pufferfish, shark, catfish, and a really nice sea trout. I don’t think there was a time where we went longer than a minute without bait on our hook or poles in the water. He was relentless in making sure we had a good time, whether that meant chasing some bonita off in the distance that were surface feeding schooling fish, or fishing off the bottom when that action wasn’t present. We on average had 4 poles in the water which is a huge feat for a one man team. There were a dozen times where he would’ve landed a fish himself and was only focused on passing the pole to assist the other fisherman with baiting or removing a fish. In our 4 hour trip we brought on roughly 30-40 fish between two of us and he was great about sharing what they were and any knowledge he had on them. He even took the time after to clean our keepers and recommend a local place that would cook them for us. Really couldn’t say enough about our experience with Captain Ethan and we’re already looking forward to the next one!

You don’t need to Wish to catch any fish with Captain Ethan and Wish Upon a Fish charters.  I chose this charter from the reviews of how well this charter was for inexperienced fishermen,myself, and being kid friendly.  I could not have asked for a better experience. Once we were out on the coast he had us set up with our gear and we were instantly catching Fish and Sharks. I couldn’t believe the amount of fish that my son caught and he can’t stop talking about the trip.  We come to the area multiple times every year and this charter will become a regular item for us to do while we are here. Captain Ethan is very knowledgeable, and patient with us while we just kept reeling fish in. If you are looking for an experience this is it. You will not be disappointed.
