Such an amazing trip with Captain Mike! We saw whales and dolphins, which was incredible, and the fishing did not disappoint. We caught Bonita and kept some to cook up for dinner, which made the day even better. Captain Mike was fun, knowledgeable, and made everyone feel comfortable the whole time. An unforgettable experience and one I’d highly recommend!

Capt Michael was awesome.  We fished with a different Capt the day earlier.  Night and day difference between the two.  Capt Michael will always be my first choice going further.  He’s knowledgeable and very much a hard worker.  Great boat and very fast.  This allows more fishing and less traveling.  I write very few reviews.  This trip definitely deserves 5 Stars.

I booked a trip with Silva Scales n Tales for Father’s Day with my Dad and Father in law. Mike was incredibly accommodating, communicated what to be expected multiple times to ensure we were prepared, and helped us to have a great experience. We came out a little early in the season but still had a great time catching all kinds of fish. Would recommend Silva Scales n Tales to anyone!

We had a great time. Kids were thrilled to catch some great fisb. Capt Mike was awesome. When we come back to San Diego we will fiah with him. And his boat is perfect, and gets you to your deatination quick.

Fantastic time with 2 adults and 2 teens out with Captain Mike for 5 hour trip.  Excellent boat, tackle, knowledge, etc.  He had us on the fish and provided options for most likely to hail in larger count or lesser likelihood on count, but go for the biggest guys.  Superb service and very personable.  All you could ask for in a guide.  We will be back!
