We caught 2 nice yellowfin tuna, around 30 and 40 pounds.When we got back to the marinia he seemed disappointed that we wanted to keep one of the 2 fish that we caught. He then would not clean them for, he said it wasn’t allowed on the dock which is understandable. We finally talked him into gutting one of them for us and of course he gave us the small one, but we didn’t specify.

He gave us a call to go earlier than the scheduled 0830 start. We agreed and were very glad for it. We looked out for the birds diving and sure enough got hooked up as soon as we got out there. There were no other boats around! We caught another one when another boat showed up. Immediately thereafter we caught the third fish. Captain Nico was awesome! He was a great guide and very attentive to changing conditions! He was very personable and knowledgeable! If he saw birds, we chased them! If he saw action on the reefs, we were there! Nico gave us every possible option for us to catch fish trolling along the reefs and offshore! The boat was great too, with large pacific swells we were comfortable the whole time.
