They Capt and Mate worked hard to find the fish today and it paid off.  We caught 9 dorado and 3 tunas in 1/2 day.  Big fun for all!  They had the fish cleaned for us and we took 20 pounds back to the condo to eat the rest of the week.

Was a good day with Captian Jorge. We got off to a little rough start, the language barrier made things feel a little rushed and uncomfortable, but after we got out to our fishing spot, things went better. Captain Jorge did a good job trying to get on some fish and eventually landed us on some nice calico, which I like the challenge of trying to catch. Ended up with 8 in our bucket to finish the day.

Been fishing my whole life down in Florida and around the Caribbean. This was my first trip to Cabo so I wanted to do some fishing and really wanted to catch a nice marlin…
I booked a full day and then a half day with this outfit, the price was good and the value was great. The fist day, I went out by myself for a full day of fishing (trolling). We saw 2 marlin up top got 3 good bites and landed a 140lb, 103 inch striped marlin. The fish gave us some nice jumps, runs and ultimately pulled us around for about 3 hours but the captain kept the me in fighting position in 3-6 ft swells.
The boat was modest and the captain understood more English than he spoke, but we were fishing the same water as the 50’ Sport-fishing charters that probably cost 10x’s as much.
Looking forward to hanging that trophy on the wall in 60-90 days.
I would definitely do it again and I have already recommended this “fleet” to friends.
Following Seas and Tight Lines

Went out early Saturday morning. After 30 min on the water, we had to go back to the docks because the boat was taking in water. Switched out boats quickly and off we went. Jose worked really hard. We went jigging for Bonita and caught a nice one, but the bite slowed down. We then went inshore for some rooster and dorado, but water was really cold. Enjoyed the extra time that was given to me because of the little mishap. We trolled for more fish on our way back to the docks but no avail. I would definitely go back.

I always book 2 outings for a week of vacation.  Again Juan showed us his expertise.  We caught Bonita and Yellow Tail, and were ready to go back.  We still had an hour and a half, so Juan suggested taking the deep route back.  He was right again.  He had me reel in one of the lures and quickly cast the last of our live bait.  15 seconds later he handed my brother the pole and said, “REEL, REEL!!”  45 minutes later there was a 150 pound marlin in the boat.

He must have seen, or sensed something, because I barely got the lure in when he handed my brother the pole.  Between Juan’s broken English and our broken Spanish, we managed to communicate and Juan is a Wizard at finding ways to catch fish.  I have gone out with other charters while in Cabo, but this was my best trip by far.  I will definitely book with Cabo Sport Fishing next time.
