It was a great trip. Boat was awesome, captain and mate were great! Waves were big and definitely recommend some seasickness medication if you’re not used to being out in the ocean. We hit a barracuda immediately, then after 2 hours with nothing, we then reeled in 4 Mahi Mahi and a Wahoo in about 30 minutes. Was a great time and will definitely go again next time we come down.

The sea was choppy and a few of us became seasick despite our use of Meclizine.  Our first mate was a knowledgeable fisherman, a good storyteller and a kind nurse to those who needed it.  Our Captain was working hard locating fish.  When we return to Puerto Plata, we will go out on the Dona Nina.

Jeffrey and good crew were excellent! They were fun and attentive. They got on the fish and we took home 8 Dorado & 3 Wahoo. The boat was beautiful!  I would definitely book with this captain and crew again!! We had so much fun!
