Lupo’s crew was awesome! They knew what they were doing and it made for a great fishing trip. Me and my friends had never been deep sea fishing. We asked the captain and crew what was biting. They said yellowfin tuna and that’s exactly what we caught. It was cool to see how they worked with other fisherman to track the schools of fish. Eventually we broke off from the pack because the captain saw birds and dolphins in a certain area. It was cool to see how they used these signs of life to find us fish. As soon as they took us to this area we hooked a bunch of yellowfin tuna. Afterwards we caught one mahi mahi. They filleted the fish for us and provided us beers on the trip. It was a great trip. If I come back, I will definitely go out with Lupo Charters. They went above and beyond the call of duty.

We planned to try for rooster fish and cubera on our 1/2 day trip. The crew told us those weren’t the best bets today but knew of yellowfin nearby, so we chose their recommendation.  After a 40 minute run offshore we were in the middle of swooping birds and tuna crashing the surface everywhere like in a fishing show.  We caught 6 in 2hours 15-25 lbs, and could have kept going.  we asked to try for roosters and cubera for the last hour of our trip, and the crew obliged.  We went inshore and my son hooked into something big while jigging over one of their spots.  This fish was like hooking into a freight train that swam into the rocks below and broke him off, there was nothing he could do to stop it.  Probably a big cubera, and my son now has a nice fishing story to tell.  The crew was friendly, hard working, and definitely knew where the fish were.  Highly recommend

Had an exceptional Day with Captain Carlos and decimate Daniel. Both guys were terrific setting rods and getting us into the fish!! Caught multiple Sailfish, one mahi mahi and numerous yellowfin tuna. Captain Carlos was an expert at spot fishing.. If you want nothing but first class service and unbelievable fishing, Lupo Charters is who you want to go with.

We had the best time! Mauricio picked us **hidden content**ndo, then Alex & Johnathan took us offshore to fish for sailfish, marlin & Mahi. We caught a sailfish (which was the highlight of my 2 weeks exploring Costa Rica & a dream come true), then almost caught a 2nd one….WOW!! We did some inshore fishing as well & caught plenty of delicious dinner for days. I highly recommend these guys for your day of fishing. Very fun, knowledgeable, accommodating & just all around great professional fishermen. As 2 women, we felt 100% safe the entire day!!
