Mauricio took me on a great trip through the mangroves of the lagoon hunting tarpon and other species. Love the sight fishing w light spin casting gear. Transitioned to live bait and found snook, snapper, and barracuda a great four trip w great gear and great guide. Would definitely book again.

Guide found Tarpon for me within 20 minutes, and I casted at rising Tarpon over the next 3 hours, 6 good hits, landing 2, another 2 broke me off (maybe a barracuda, who knows) and I lost a great one as it jumped acrobatically a good 4 feet or more in the air. . .  later he put me on snook. . .  Taking a break for 2 days and going again with the same guide.

First time in cancun and this fishing trip was a great experience. Two on the boat and three species of fish caught. Kept well informed when booking the trip and our guide put us in the right spots. Would definitely take another trip out on my next visit to cancun.

After polling for only 20 minutes my same Guide from Wednesday had me into Sight casting for Tarpon for the next 2 hours, landed one, missed several. We hit 4 more locations the rest of the day where I had several shots and more hook ups at Tarpon and Snook.  Mow (guide) can certainly spot the snook amongst the mangroves.
