Captain Joey put on fish despite the tide and the dolphins ! We could have caught more fish but he asked us what we wanted to do and we told him to try for a combination of what was biting the best and what tasted the best. Despite us being picky, he said OK and immediately said “ I have a plan “ ! And off we went. We caught a mess of trout, a few mackerel ( would have caught more, but it took awhile for us Wisconsinites to catch on on how to “ set the hook “ !!! ) lol 😂 We also caught grouper and jacks. We all had a GREAT time and would recommend Captain Joey and will look him up if we vacation here again.
Had the trout for dinner, YUMMY 😋 Will try the mackerel tomorrow. Captain Joey even suggested how to cook each species of fish and he was spot on !!! VERY GOOD TASTING FISH !!!

Captain Joey was very friendly and knowledgeable. First cast the line barely hit the water and we caught a nice ladyfish. Caught a nice amount of ladyfish, even brought a bull shark to the boat before he got off (he was foul-hooked anyway). Also caught a couple sea trout, which were on my bucket list. Would not hesitate to book another trip with Joey.

Captain Joey was awesome from the initial booking through the fishing trip itself! He worked hard to put us on fish and everyone had fun on the trip. We will definitely look Captain up next time we are in Fort Meyers Beach! Highly recommend this trip!
