This was our first fishing trip on Marco Island.  Captain Rio was terrific!  He knows where to catch fish. We did the four hour tour and wished we had booked for 6hrs.  I will definitely use Captain Rio in the future.  He had everything we needed.  He had great equipment and he was very patient with us.  I hadn’t fished in 25 years and that’s about to change because of our experience.  We caught about 25 fish and pictured posted was the last one of the day.  Great time!  Thank you!

I took a morning trip with Captain Rio with my wife and father. From the beginning of the morning, Captain Rio put us on fish. We had a great time and caught plenty of fish for a couple meals during our vacation. Captain Rio is a great guide and will put you on fish. Thanks for a great morning Captain Rio.

We had a fun afternoon with Capt Rio. He knows the back waters well and put us on fish. We even hooked a HUGE “mystery fish” that was big enough to break off a 400lb leader. Lots of Mangrove snappers, some catfish, a jack of some sort. Very personable captain who did everything to make the trip fun.

Rio’s boat was super clean!  He was very entertaining and my family of 6 had an awesome time!  Four hours goes by real quick!!  We hit two spots in that time. Rio was very knowledgeable and answered all the questions we had about Marco, fishing, gear choices, shore rigs, etc. My son caught his first Goliath grouper!  We also caught sea trout, tons of lady fish, one flounder, and a stingray.  We saw dolphins and stingrays too! Thanks again Rio!

We have been on many fishing charters and we have been skunked many times. Not with Captain Rio, he broke my losing streak and I caught a Goliath grouper I could barely lift with two hands!!!Everyone on board caught fish. Captain Rio also contacted us the night before our trip to tell us about questionable weather and offered us to reschedule next day. It was perfect! He was an attentive Captain and was invested in our success. Highly recommend.
