I can’t recommend Captain John enough!  He was incredibly patient and helpful, making sure everyone had a great time from start to finish. His communication before the trip was excellent and he made sure the entire experience was easy and stress-free.

He is experienced and knows where to find the fish - we caught several black sea bass and the highlight was my son catching a cape shark! He took time to help everyone aboard, answered all our questions, and made sure my son and niece had an unforgettable experience.

We had an awesome day on the water and I would absolutely book with Captain John again!

Captain John has a personality that makes you think he has been a friend for years! We had absolutely no problems getting on the Fish right away. I took my friend out for his birthday and he actually caught the first fish of the day and it was a KEEPER!! The Captain was attentive to my ROOKIE friend all day, giving him encouragement and excellent fishing advice!! We had many sets of double hook-ups and we caught 5 keepers that day!!  The Captain filleted the fish at the end of the trip, Iced them up and we even had a chance to have a cold one with him!! LOL Two word Captain John:  PROFESSIONAL ENJOYABLE!!!  Thanx for making my Friends birthday gift something he told me he would never forget!!  We WILL be BACK!!! :)

We had an incredible time with Captain John. I recommend for all ages and experience levels! We brought our two kids (7 & 4) and my mom, and everyone caught fish, and had an amazing time. We must have caught two dozen fish over a 2 hour period and even caught 2 sharks!! Highly highly recommend. Captain John was such an amazing guide and was super patient with my kids too!

There is nothing like witnessing pure joy on my son’s face!  He was looking forward to this fishing trip for months, and Captain John did not disappoint!  Everyone on the boat caught fish and had a great time.  Captain John was the perfect host.  He was engaging and fun!  Can’t wait til next year’s MV trip so that we can go fishing with him again!

Taking my daughter out on her 19th birthday, along with a group of her friends, might have turned negative given that we didn’t catch any keepers. The helpful, informative, and friendly support of Captain John, however, made the morning a great time for all. We took home the most important thing of all: fantastic memories of a super-fun day!
