Captain John has a personality that makes you think he has been a friend for years! We had absolutely no problems getting on the Fish right away. I took my friend out for his birthday and he actually caught the first fish of the day and it was a KEEPER!! Had an incredible day fishing with Captain John! From start to finish, the action was nonstop—we were reeling in fish consistently and even doubled up several times. With the kind of excitement we had, we could’ve stayed out there all day. I’d highly recommend Captain John to anyone, whether you’re an experienced angler or just starting out. He knows the area inside and out, and we’ll definitely be booking with him again next time we’re in town!

We had an incredible time with Captain John. I recommend for all ages and experience levels! We brought our two kids (7 & 4) and my mom, and everyone caught fish, and had an amazing time. We must have caught two dozen fish over a 2 hour period and even caught 2 sharks!! Highly highly recommend. Captain John was such an amazing guide and was super patient with my kids too!

There is nothing like witnessing pure joy on my son’s face! He was looking forward to this fishing trip for months, and Captain John did not disappoint! Everyone on the boat caught fish and had a great time. Captain John was the perfect host. He was engaging and fun! Can’t wait til next year’s MV trip so that we can go fishing with him again!
